The Jessie Peterman Library presents the program "Monarch Waystations" on Saturday, August 16, 2025.
Blue Ridge Heritage in partnership with the Southwest Piedmont Master Naturalists and the Dan River Basin Association will be presenting a program on Monarch Butterflies. This program will focus on monarch traits and the type of Waystations they seek during migration through Virginia.
Learn how to create and design your own waystation to help save this beautiful native endangered butterfly. This program will be lead by Regina Flora, MS, VMN, Certified Virginia Master Naturalist and Education Outreach Chair with the Southwestern Piedmont Master Naturalist chapter.
The Jessie Peterman Library is located at 321 West Main Street in Floyd, VA.
