The Radford Public Library presents a screening of "Norfolk and Western Railway Steam, Steel and Storylines" with Q&A Session on Saturday, August 16, 2025.
Learn all about the history of the railroad and how it came to the surroundings areas of Radford, the surrounding New River Valley and Roanoke with a special presentation of the highly acclaimed Emmy nominated Blue Ridge Public Television documentary.
There will be time for Q&A with the presenter, Larry Hypes of the N&W Historical Society and co-executive producer and writer of the documentary. Enjoy authentic 1920s Norfolk & Western Coffee roast featuring "creamy cocoa, sweet toffee, and rich dried fruits!".
