The New River Theatre Guild is holding auditions for "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" on Saturday, September 6, 2025 and Sunday, September 7, 2025 from 12:00-3:00 PM each day at The June Bug Center.
It’s only August, but it’s time to start planning for our winter show. Come have fun with us this fall as we prepare for "The BEST Christmas Pageant Ever"!
In this hilarious Christmas classic, a couple struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant is faced with casting the Herdman kids – probably the most inventively awful kids in history. You won't believe the mayhem – and the fun – when the Herdmans collide head-on with the story of Christmas!
The auditions are open to anyone 8 years and older. All auditioners must prepare a 30 second to one minute monologue relevant to the genre/characters. Please have your material memorized. Those who audition are not required to attend both days.
Rehearsals will be Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00-8:00 PM beginning September 29th at The Junebug Center. Performances will be December 5th-7th and December 12th-14th.
