Adjust NRV and the Courtyard By Marriott in Blacksburg, VA presents the End of Summer Bash 2025 with Concert and Hokie Bird Reveal on Friday, September 12, 2025 at the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Pavilion and Amphitheater.
This year's End of Summer Bash features live music from The Jerry Wimmer Trio and Amelia Empson. We will have food trucks, refreshing beverages, a bounce house and, at 5:00 pm, the design of Blacksburg's newest Hokie Bird will be revealed!
The Jerry Wimmer Trio is high energy, spontaneous acoustic music with a touch of comedic improvisation based out of Roanoke, VA. Country, funk, punk, heavy metal, rock if we don't know it, we'll fake or do something close!
Jerry Wimmer is the lead singer and front man for the popular band The Worx. Players change from time to time but always feature Jerry Wimmer on vocals and guitar.

Amelia Empson plays a variety of Indie-Folk and Americana covers and originals from the Appalachian Mountains with talent far beyond her years.

Admission is free and all are welcome.
Parking is available in the nearby parking lots located within the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center.
