Description:
As part of the 2025 Mary Draper Ingles Festival, the Wilderness Road Regional Museum hosts Guided Ingles Tavern Tours starting at the Wilderness Road Regional Museum on Saturday, July 26, 2025 and Sunday, July 27, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM each day.

On Saturday, the Fincastle Company Living History will be setup at the Tavern with State Park interpreters sharing edible plants and foraging techniques. Learn what Mary may have eaten on her adventure.

Bus Tours leave leave every 30 minutes and are first come, first served from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Admission is $10.00 per adult and free for kids ages 6 & under.

Participants must meet at Wilderness Road Regional Museum to catch the Shuttle Bus. Do not drive to the site.

The Wilderness Road Regional Museum is located at 5420 Wilderness Road in Newbern, VA.
