The Pulaski River Turtles Appalachian League team hosts the Bluefield Ridge Runners as they wrap up their 2025 season on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at historic Calfee Park.

This is the final game of the 2025 season. It's also Waggin' Wednesday so fans can bring their well-behaved, leashed dogs to the ballpark.

Calfee Park’s commemorative 90th anniversary program culminates with a legendary team rebrand. For the first time in its five-year history, the Pulaski River Turtles will play under an alternate identity, taking the field as the Pulaski Counts for the final two-game series against the Bluefield Ridge Runners. The timing of the matchup is historically significant; the series comes 77 years to the day that the Pulaski Counts faced the Bluefield Blue Grays in a two-game tilt at Calfee Park in 1948. The Counts swept the series en route to the 1948 Appalachian League championship.

Note: There is a $1.50 processing fee per ticket to purchase tickets online.

First pitch is at 7:00 PM and gates open at 5:30 PM. On Sundays, gates open at 4:00 PM and the game starts at 5:30 PM.

Parking is free at Calfee Park and first come, first served.

The Appalachian League is a 10-team summer collegiate baseball league played in the heart of the Appalachia region of the United States and is part of the Major League Baseball (MLB) and USA Baseball Prospect Development Pipeline, a pathway for amateur baseball players in the United States and is an integral part of the identification and development process for the USA Baseball Collegiate National Team and other future national teams.
