Glade Road Growing presents Pouts & Petals: A Pop-Up Event for Kids on Thursday, July 24, 2025.

Have you ever wanted to hold a new baby chick? How about a baby turkey (called a poult) or duckling?

We’ll meet at our new farm pavilion with a menagerie of young poultry and give a guided tutorial on how to safely hold them. The event will include a visit to our u-pick sunflowers and flowers that you can cut and take home.

Long pants recommended if you want to hold the babies. Handwashing area will be provided and along with plenty of adorable photo opportunities.

The cost is $11.00 per person. Free for kids ages four and under.

Child and parent ticket required.

This family-oriented event runs 6:00-7:30 pm. This event is for the young and young at heart.
