Description:
The Blue Ridge Orienteering Club presents a Rising Silo Orienteering Meet on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at Rising Silo Brewery in Blacksburg, VA.

Join us for Beginner and Intermediate Orienteering courses starting and ending at Rising Silo Brewery.

The beginner course is about a mile into Heritage Park. The intermediate course will venture into the trails of Stonecutter Hollow.

We will provide basic instruction to beginners and we will have loaner compasses available to use.

Participation is a $5.00 suggested donation.

No experience necessary.

The Blue Ridge Orienteering Club was formed in the spring of 2015 and is an affiliate club and local chapter of Orienteering USA (OUSA) located in the Blue Ridge mountains.

The club holds regular orienteering events in the region both on foot and mountain bike.
