Narrows Parks & Recreation presents their Annual Narrows Town Park Opening Day on Friday, May 23, 2025.
Join us for evening of fun, food, and celebration to kick off the park year! The Splash Pad will be open from 5:00-8:00 PM, there will be a 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament starting at 5:30 PM, a Pickleball Tournament starting at 5:00 PM and plenty of food including Scoops Ice Cream Truck and Simple Fixins on site.
The 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament starts at 5:30 PM with entry $40.00 per team (max of four players). There will be separate divisions for 4th-7th, 8-th-12th and ages 18 & up. Register in advance by texting Roger Shepherd at 540-599-1135, Jenny Wheeler at 540-599-7438 or Jennifer Clark at 540-599-0608 or in person the day of the event from 4:30-5:30 PM.
The Pickleball Tournament starts at 5:00 PM and entry is $30.00 per doubles team with the a limit of 14 teams. The tournament is double elimination and the first team to reach 11 wins and teams do not need to win by two. Register in advance by texting Jenny Wheeler at 540-599-7438 or Jennifer Clark at 540-599-0608.
