UPDATE: Due to forecasted inclement weather, this evening's Friday Evening Concert on Henderson Lawn has been cancelled.
The Summer Arts Festival continues their 2025 Friday Night Outdoor Concert Series with the Blacksburg Community Band on Friday, May 30, 2025 outside at Henderson Lawn on the campus of Virginia Tech.
The Blacksburg Community Band, Inc. is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit community organization formed in 1989 under the auspices of the Department of Parks and Recreation in the Town of Blacksburg, Virginia.
The ensemble is open to individuals of all ages and ability levels from the New River Valley and surrounding areas and performs in an average of 20 concerts each year throughout the New River Valley. The band was incorporated in Virginia as a non-profit corporation in 2007.

Admission is free and all are welcome.
Bring chairs or a blanket, a picnic, and settle in for an evening of live music.
In the event of inclement weather, this event will be canceled.
Friday Night Outdoor Concerts on Henderson Lawn are presented by Virginia Tech and the Town of Blacksburg as part of the 2025 Summer Arts Festival.
