Historic Smithfield presents a Hands-On Learning Program titled "Brewing Washington's Small Beer Recipe" on Saturday, August 24, 2024.
Learn how to make George Washington's simple recipe for small beer using just four simple ingredients and equipment you may already have. The program will include a discussion on brewing in the 18th century with your questions.
The program will be offered at the Smithfield gift shop from 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM at no charge.
