Villa Appalaccia Winery kicks off their Wine-Aversary Weekend with their 6th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, August 10, 2024.

• 1:00-4:00 PM: Live Music from Souvenirs

Join us for a weekend of fun to celebrate our 6th year at the Villa with live music from the Souvenirs, BBQ Buffet, new release party and more!

Souvenirs is made up of three music veterans Dave Fason, David Cannaday and Rusty May that bring an eclectic mix of Americana, bluegrass, folk, rock and country music to the stage.

As part of our 6th Wine-aversary celebrations, we're hosting a BBQ buffet featuring pulled pork and ribs with all the fixings including banana pudding. Enjoy a spread with plenty of options, sweet, savory and veggie friendly.

In an effort to reduce wait times, we are offering two seatings for this event with one at 12:00 PM and one immediately following at 1:00 PM. Everything will look and work the same except with shorter lines!

Advance tickets for the BBQ buffet are $20.00 per person and day of tickets are $25.00. Advance ticket sales end on Tuesday, August 6th at 11:59 PM.

Additionally, enjoy the release party for the Bourbon barrel cab franc ("The Buffalo") along with an artist signing with local artist Raven Skye McDonough for "The Buffalo" bottles and posters she designed along with some of her other art pieces. After four years in the cellar, we’re finally releasing our long-awaited bourbon barrel-aged cabernet franc, The Buffalo. Buffet tickets include a tasting of this amazing wine.

This year we’re supporting the Floyd County Library Building Fund Pavilion Project. Situated on the west end of the library’s property, the pavilion will serve as a versatile venue for library programming (think concerts, art programs and nature events) while providing a delightful space for patrons and visitors to enjoy. Our collective support can turn these plans into a reality, fostering a vibrant outdoor space that will leave a lasting impact on our community. Donations for the pavilion will be accepted and 10% of the revenue on Saturday will also be donated.

Admission to the event is free and all are welcome.
