The Floyd Center for the Arts in partnership with the Floyd Country Store’s Handmade Music School presents the 2024 Floyd Living Traditions Festival on Saturday, August 24, 2024.

Known for its bluegrass and old-time music, along with a lively arts scene, Floyd, Virginia, will celebrate its rich artistic heritage with the Floyd Living Traditions Festival. The festival will feature music on two stages and fun for the whole family. More than 70 artists will be on hand to perform, offer works for sale, and demonstrate Floyd traditions such as quilting, spinning, instrument making, weaving, blacksmithing, dancing, woodworking, and basketmaking. Food trucks including Thai & More and Copper Dog and Co. along with homecooked pinto beans and cornbread, an outdoor beer garden, hands-on kids activities, 30-minute workshops and opportunities to learn and create firsthand await!
Saturday’s all-day event takes place both inside and out at the dairy barn campus of the Floyd Center for the Arts.
Admission to the festival is free on Saturday.
There will also be Special Kickoff on Friday, August 23rd at 6:00 PM at the June Bug Center. For more information, visit:
