Dublin Calvary Chapel Church presents a Memorial Ride and Fundraiser for Krystal, Angel and the Akers Family on Saturday, July 20, 2024.

All vehicles are invited to join the Memorial Ride and Fundraiser for Krystal and Angel of the Akers Family to raise funds for both funeral and medical costs.

The Akers' family was hit with a tragic automobile accident while traveling home from vacation on June 21, 2024. Tammy Akers, her husband Greg, daughter Krystal and grandchildren Angel and Karter were hit from behind by a box truck on their way home. Unfortunately Krystal and her daughter Angel did not survive the crash. Krystal was an amazing mother to her two children and Angel was set to start middle school this upcoming school year. The baby Karter underwent brain trauma surgery to alleviate some pressure and was in the ICU. Greg was also admitted to the hospital with broken ribs and broken vertebrae in his back and Tammy suffered severe bruising.

The cost for the ride is $20.00 for bikes, $25.00 for doubles and $25.00 for other vehicles.

Registration for the ride starts at 9:30 AM and kicks stands up at 11:00 AM.

In addition to the ride, all are welcome to join in the 50/50 Raffle, door prizes, silent auction, gun raffle (must be present to win) and food after the ride.

In case of rain and the ride is cancelled, the non-ride portion of the event will continue from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Donations will be accepted from all and all proceeds will be donated to the Akers Family.
