Old Church Gallery presents the BYO Buffalo House Party on Wednesday, June 26, 2024.
BYOB stands for "Bring Your Own Buffalo", so bring personal photos, memories, songs, artwork, and poems related to Buffalo Mountain to share. Should be a fun evening with music, snacks, stories, exhibits, Buffalo Mountain camaraderie, silent auction and more!
You'll also want to see our new exhibit "There’s the Buffalo!" with works by 20 local artists.
Mingle on the lawn starting at 4:00 PM, George Slusher, Joel Pratt and friends will share a few tunes and tales from music makers in the Gallery archives. The harmonious duo of Willard Gayheart and Ricky Cox will perform at 5:00 PM. Other musicians will jump in along the way.
Admission is free and donations are appreciated.
This year’s House Party is part of the annual Give Local NRV 2024 Day of Giving. Thanks to the Community Foundation of the New River Valley, Old Church Gallery can now accept online donations at https://www.givelocalnrv.org/organization/Old-Church-Gallery-Ltd in addition to cash or checks.
Chairs are welcome.
