The Charles & Ona B Free Memorial Library (Dublin Library) presents their Silent Film Theater featuring the film "The General" on Saturday, June 22, 2024.

Join us for Buster Keaton's all-time 1926 classic "The General" which stars Buster Keaton, Marion Mack and Glen Cavender and is also written and directed by Buster Keaton.

Film Synopsis:
After being rejected by the Confederate military, not realizing it was due to his crucial civilian role, an engineer must single-handedly recapture his beloved locomotive after it is seized by Union spies and return it through enemy lines.
