The Summer Arts Festival kicks off their 2024 Friday Night Outdoor Concerts with the Blacksburg Community Band on Friday, June 7, 2024 outside at Henderson Lawn on the campus of Virginia Tech.
The Blacksburg Community Band, Inc. is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit community organization formed in 1989 under the auspices of the Department of Parks and Recreation in the Town of Blacksburg, Virginia.
The ensemble is open to individuals of all ages and ability levels from the New River Valley and surrounding areas and performs in an average of 20 concerts each year throughout the New River Valley. The band was incorporated in Virginia as a non-profit corporation in 2007.

Admission is free and all are welcome.
Bring your chairs and/or blankets.
In the event of inclement weather, this event will be canceled.
Friday Night Outdoor Concerts on Henderson Lawn are presented by Virginia Tech and the Town of Blacksburg as part of the 2024 Summer Arts Festival.
