Virginia Tech Athletics presents ESPN's College GameDay Broadcast Live on Sunday, February 25, 2024 from Cassell Coliseum.
ESPN's College GameDay Basketball Show will run an hour long starting at 11:00 AM and features basketball personalities and broadcasters Elle Duncan, Andraya Carter, Carolyn Peck, Holly Rowe and Chiney Ogwumike. This will be the third of five women's basketball shows this season.
It marks the first time the iconic show will be broadcast before a Hokie women's basketball game, making Tech the first-ever ACC school to host College GameDay on the women's side.
There will be a Gameday sign making station outside the North Lobby of Cassell Coliseum. All signs must be approved prior to entering Cassell.
To help maximize the viewing experience, fans will be asked to sit on the west side, which is behind the teams' benches.
Gates will open for students on the Washington Street side of Cassell at 9:30 AM. The first 100 students at ESPN College GameDay will receive a T-shirt upon entry.
Gates for the general public will open from the Beamer Way side of Cassell at 9:45 AM.
The north and west entrances will be the only entrances available for the show, with no entry through the Student-Athlete Performance Center. Additionally, no courtside seating will be available for the show. Stands will be cleared after the show before the Virginia Tech Women's Basketball game against UNC that tips off at 2:00 PM.
Fans who do not have a parking pass for the game against UNC are encouraged to park in the Chicken Hill parking lot (Lot 5). Fans with women's basketball parking passes may park in their pre-assigned lot for College GameDay.
Cassell Coliseum is located at 675 Washington Street in Blacksburg, VA on the campus of Virginia Tech.
