The Radford University Honors College is delighted to host author Tara Isabella Burton for her presentation titled "Curation vs. Creation: Making and Unmaking Our Selves in the Internet Age" on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 in the Bonnie Auditorium on the campus of Radford University.
A visiting fellow at the Mercatus Center, Dr. Burton will discuss her new book "Self-Made: From Da Vinci to the Kardashians." Interweaving psychology, sociology, history, politics, and media, her Honors Lecture will explore the myths and realities of self-creation in contemporary life.
This event is free and open to the entire community.
