Glade Road Growing presents a Free Solstice Sunrise Walk on Thursday, December 21, 2023.

Join Glade Road Growing on the first day of winter for a special pre-sunrise morning hike through the farmscape to welcome in a new season! Warm apple cider provided for a toast when we make it to the top of the back hill.

We’ll hike to the seldom-visited back potato hill where we’ll get a panoramic view to the east to watch the colors of the sunrise. Our back potato hill is about a half-mile cold walk, uphill on uneven terrain in dim light, but so worth it!

This event is free and open to the public so dress warm and bring your friends.
