Christiansburg Library presents Jolabokaflod: a Christmas Book Exchange on Saturday, December 9, 2023.
Jolabokaflod: the Icelandic tradition of giving, receiving, and reading books on Christmas Eve, often while enjoying chocolate and warm drinks. Literally translates into Christmas Book Flood.
You're invited to bring a new or gently used book to participate in a book exchange, then receive a new-to-you book. Also, enjoy light refreshments, a craft, and more!
The Christiansburg Library is located at 125 Sheltman Street in Christiansburg, VA.
