Radford Public Library presents the Tree Lighting Ceremony 2023 on Tuesday, December 5, 2023.

Event Schedule:
• 5:15 PM: Hodge Podge Cookies
• 5:30 PM: Crafting and Santa Storytime
• 6:00 PM: Grove United Methodist Church Handbell Choir Performance
• 6:30 PM: Tree Lighting

Join us once again for the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony!

There will be free Hodge Podge cookies and cocoa. Crafting for little hands will be available and Santa will visit with families, offer a special storytime and take casual photos against a set backdrop. The Grove United Methodist Church Handbell Choirs will perform and offer an interactive performance for the children with small handbells, always a crowd favorite. We will aim to light the tree around 6:30 pm outside in the library lot. Radford Mayor Horton will once again be our faithful emcee this year.

This year we will celebrate a new tree on the parking lot side of the library building. You won't be able to park in the library lot, but Radford Transit is on hand to offer rides from the high school parking lot to the library lot for free. Radford Transit will run continuously from 5:00-7:00 PM.

We're looking forward to celebrating with you!

Admission is free and all are welcome.

In case of inclement weather, the makeup date will be Tuesday, December 12, 2023.

Radford Public Library is located at 30 West Main Street in Radford, VA.
