Description:
The Auburn High School Heritage Club presents the Inaugural Gingerbread Decorating Contest and Gingerbread Bash on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at Auburn High School Cafeteria.

Event Schedule:
• 6:00-6:30 PM: Gingerbread People and House Construction
• 6:30-7:00 PM: Gingerbread People Winners Announced
• 6:30-7:00 PM: Silent Cake Auctions Opens
• 7:00-8:00 PM: House Decorating
• 8:00 PM: Silent Cake Auction Bidding Closes
• 8:15 PM: Gingerbread House Winners Announced

Bring the whole family to compete in the inaugural gingerbread people and house decorating competition. All ages two and up are eligible to compete so bring the whole family! There will be age groups and prizes awarded 1st-3rd place for each age group. Those competing will need to purchase a ticket to enter.

Competition Age Groups:
Gingerbread People Competition: Ages 2-4

Gingerbread House Competition:
• Ages 5-9
• Ages 10-14
• Ages 15-18
• Ages 19+

Tickets are $8.00 in advance and $10.00 at the door (if available) for gingerbread contestants. Admission is free for spectators.

There will also be a Silent Cake Auction, Santa will also be on-site during the break portion of the Gingerbread Bash, crafts for kids, hot chocolate, dinner and snacks available by donation.

Auburn High School is located at 1650 Auburn School Drive in Riner, VA.
