Description:
The Wilderness Road Regional Museum presents their annual Newbern Noel Night on Saturday, December 2, 2023 in Historic Newbern, Virginia.

Please come by and enjoy all that we have to offer! The main museum and appendage historic structures will be decorated and ready to welcome in the season. Enjoy music by Simple Gifts of the Blue Ridge from 5:00-7:00 PM in the main museum. Taste traditional sweets & savories along with Wassail and Great Road Tea starting at 5:00 PM. Come by between 2:00-6:00 PM and shop in our Barn Bazaar with select heritage inspired vendors and local authors selling their wares.

Register for holiday photo sessions in the log kitchen with professional photographer Darren Van Dyke. These photo sessions require a donation and reservation, but well worth it. Slots will be 15 minutes each starting at 2:00 PM with last session available at 5:45 PM, you will get two digital photos to share, sent to you by photographer Darren Van Dyke following the event. And watch mini performances by Westover Ballet in the Do-Better Cottage from 6:00-7:00 PM.

The overall event is free to attend, but donations are accepted and there is a required fee for the Holiday Photo Sessions as a mini fundraiser for the museum
