The Floyd County Library Building Fund presents an Author Talk with Martin Clark on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at the Jessie Peterman Library.
Martin Clark is a retired circuit court judge from Patrick County, Virginia and the author of "The Substitution Order", "The Legal Limit", "The Jezebel Remedy", "Plain Heathen Mischief", "The Many Aspects of Mobile Home Living", and his latest novel, "The Plinko Bounce".
The New York Times has called him "the thinking man’s John Grisham". And Entertainment Weekly says "Martin Clark is, hands down, our finest legal-thriller writer".
The program is the kickoff for the Floyd County Library Building Fund’s fundraiser. The first 50 donors to the drive will receive a signed copy of "The Plinko Bounce".
The Floyd County Library Building Fund, Inc. (FCLBF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit which acts to raise funds for the Jessie Peterman Memorial Library. The Floyd County Library Building Fund, Inc.’s mission is to support the development and the maintenance of the collections, resources and services of the Jessie Peterman Memorial Branch Library as well as assist on building projects. The Floyd County Library Fund, Inc. encourages donations through gifts, endowments and bequests for the benefit of the Library.
The Jessie Peterman Library is located at 321 West Main Street in Floyd, VA.
