Chateau Morrisette presents Back-To-Back Live Music with Matt Johnson and Midnight Blue on Monday, September 4, 2023 as part of their Labor Day Celebration.

Music Schedule:
• 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM: Matt Johnson
• 2:00-6:00 PM: Midnight Blue

Matt Johnson is an R&B singer and songwriter from the central Shenandoah Valley in Virginia. He delivers a unique R&B sound along with powerful performances. In 2018, he was a contestant and performed on "The Voice" on Jennifer Hudson's team.

He started performing at a young age around the Shenandoah Valley in various productions and has been entertaining the masses ever since. More recently Matt has performed across the country. In 2015 Johnson's previous band Moon headlined The National Theater in Richmond, Virginia. He also recorded with Charlottesville legend, Butch Taylor, the longtime touring keyboardist for Dave Matthews Band.

Midnight Blue is a five-piece rock, pop, and country covers band from Roanoke, Virginia. Founded by former members of True Cadence, Midnight Blue brings together the talent and experience of some of Southwest Virginia’s best musicians.

Midnight Blue has something for everyone! Performing hit covers by Elton John, Ed Sheeran, Heart, Bonnie Raitt, Whitney Houston, and many others, their unique brand of entertainment fuses talented musicians, sound, and lights, with a great song variety that brings more than just music… it creates a "State of Mind". Having performed numerous shows throughout Southwest Virginia, Midnight Blue is now hailed as "One of Virginia's favorite variety bands".

We will also have a volleyball net up so you can show us your skills.

Admission is free.

The restaurant will be open from 12:00-5:00 PM on Monday. Reservations are available.

Picnics are welcomed. No grills.
