Strap in for another fantastic Cosmic Comedy Club night at Lost in Taste from the best comedians in the galaxy. Hosted by Kevin McAlexander and featuring comedians Pierce Wierschem, Travis Terry, Jake Snyder, Neil Hoover and Brandi Augustus.
Brandi Augustus was born in Plainfield, New Jersey and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. She moved to Knoxville, TN in 2010. Since then, she has become an activist, community leader, advocate, poet, radical truth teller, and host. Brandi has opened for Katherine Blandford, Holly Lenea, Renard Hirsh, and Shelly Rider (from Netflix’s The Circle). Brandi was voted Knoxville’s Finest Comedian 2023 and is a show producer with Tiny Stage Comedy.
Neil Hoover is a stand-up comedian, actor, entrepreneur, and amputee who brings humor to topics ranging from losing his leg, to growing up poor in the rural south, to societal issues, science, and technology, all through the lens of his unique, honest, and philosophical perspective; and thus, making him a versatile performer with a genuine desire to entertain. Additionally, Neil has notable credits from guest staring on TV shows like FBI, NCIS: New Orleans, and NBC’s The Village, among others.
Jake Snyder is a Lynchburg-based comic who physically stands head and shoulders above the rest. Besides being a fixture of Roanoke Valley Comedy and The Idiot Box Comedy Club, Snyder travels and plays rooms across the Commonwealth of Virginia, North Carolina, and DC. Known for his distinctive cadence and well-above-average height, Snyder’s humor is endearing, often self-deprecating, and occasionally pitch black.
Kevin McAlexander is an improv comedian, stand up comic, and podcaster based out of the Roanoke area.
Travis Terry, who looks perfectly fine without a beard, does improv with Roanoke's Big Lick Conspiracy (with Kevin), and you can find him on several Polymedia Network podcasts.
Pierce Wierschem is a college dropout who loves wordplay and a good time. You can expect a performance that can only be described as a legal form of public indecency.
Admission is $7.00 per person.
