The Pembroke Volunteer Fire Department presents the 2023 Rollin' On The River Fire Float on Saturday, August 19, 2023 starting at the Ingles Landing Boat Launch in Eggleston, VA.
Join us as we float the beautiful New River! We’ll start at Ingles Landing Boat Launch with registration and check-in available from 9:00-10:00 AM. You’ll float six miles down the river to the boat launch in Pembroke, VA where the firefighters will shuttle you to the fire station for the after party featuring food, music, vendors, and more!
Expect approximately three hours of float time and gorgeous scenery along the New River Water Trail.
The cost to float is now $20.00 per person and does not include the float (canoe, kayak, etc.).
Canoe rental is available. A two-person canoe can be rented for $25.00 per person which includes canoe, paddles and life jackets. To reserve a canoe, call 540-599-6344.

Proceeds benefit the Pembroke Volunteer Fire Department.
Participants are responsible for securing their own transportation back to Eggleston / pick-up from Pembroke.
There will be no refunds for this event. In the case of inclement weather or adverse river conditions, your registration fee will be converted to a tax-deductible donation to Pembroke Volunteer Fire Department.
