The Fine Arts Center for the New River Valley presents Music & Art in Jackson Park on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Jackson Park in Pulaski, VA.

Music Schedule:
• 3:00-5:00 PM: The Reflections Band
• 5:30-6:00 PM: GRAPeJam
• 6:30-8:30 PM: Glen Shelton Band

Join us for a day of family fun that includes music, food, and more than a dozen artisan craft vendors in Historic Downtown Pulaski!

The Fine Arts Center has hosted summer concerts for many years under many names, most recently as "Rhythm & Ribs and Art in the Park". This year, we are expanding the food offerings and are glad to showcase chart-topping artist Glen Shelton and his band. Local favorites, The Reflections Band will open the event followed by a performance by the Junior Appalachian Musicians of Greater Pulaski (GRAPe JAM). It will still be a fun day for the family with lots of great food as well as artisan vendors and crafts for kids.

Glen Shelton is a musician based in Amherst County, Virginia that has performed across the mid-atlantic region. Most of Glen’s performances include popular country music (cover songs) as well as a few of his original songs. His show is very high energy and entertaining, and also very professional and suitable for all ages.

Glen has performed at hundreds of outdoor events and has worked with more than 40 national acts including Lonestar and Joe Nichols.
