The Wilderness Road Regional Museum presents Meet the Author and Book Talk with Bob Hill, Jr. on Sunday, August 6, 2023.

Join us for our next Book Talk with author Bob Hill, Jr. as he shares information on his new book titled "The New River Mail" about the postal and social history of Pulaski, Montgomery and Giles Counties.

Learn more about Ingles Ferry, Newbern, Lovely Mount, New River Depot, and so many more local places that made history as the post offices throughout the New River Valley. Bob Hill will talk about his book and the research he used to track down and trace all the early post offices and towns and localities they served. The book is a fascinating study in history and includes great pictures.

Books will be available for purchase during the talk and are available at the museum now.

Admission is free and donations are greatly appreciated.
