Description:
The Montgomery Museum of Art and History will celebrate its annual Heritage Day on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at the museum, at 300 Pepper Street in Christiansburg, VA and along Main Street in downtown Christiansburg, VA.
Montgomery County Heritage Day showcases traditional crafts people, antique automobiles and engines, traditional song and dance, as well as our traditional food ways. This event features tours of the new museum, special children’s areas for creative outlets, games, education, 40 vendors and more. Scoops food truck will be on-site.
Featuring hay rides and a beer garden provided by the Kiwanis Club of Christiansburg! Take a free hayride between Main Street and Pepper Street to visit all the festivities. The hayride leaves from the courthouse every 10-15 minutes through the end of the festival.
Enjoy live performances by Amelia Empson, Virginia Hollow, Pathway, Appalachian Space Train and the PanJammers Steel Drum Orchestra.

• 12:30-1:30 PM: Pathway

• 3:15-4:00 PM: PanJammers Steel Drum Orchestra
There will also be a Silent Auction at the museum featuring over 100 items including gift cards, jewelry, baskets and more!
