Intellectual Disabilities Agency of the New River Valley (IDA) presents the 2023 IDA Annual Golf Tournament titled "Swing Fore Persons with Intellectual Disabilities" on Monday, August 14, 2023 at the Blacksburg Country Club.
Enjoy food, beverages, golf, and exciting prizes at an exclusive, recently renovated 18-hole 175-acre championship golf course situated in the beautiful Ellett Valley. Golf cart, lunch, beverages and prizes are included!
Prizes will be awarded for:
• Longest Drive (Hole #10)
• Ball closest pin on holes: #3, #7, #11, #15
• First Place
• Second Place
• Third Place
• Highest Score
The cost is $100.00 per golfer with a maximum of four persons per team.
Mulligans will be for sale for $5.00 each.
Check-in is at Noon and tee off is at 1:00 PM.
The Intellectual Disabilities Agency of the New River Valley provides a variety of programs including social, recreational, educational activities throughout the year for children and adults with an intellectual disability who live in the New River Valley area of southwest Virginia. Such programs address the human need for a balanced life that combines not only rest and work, but also meaningful leisure pursuits.
The agency, started by parents who were seeking services and programs for their loved ones, believes individuals deserve access to opportunities and resources available to all others. Therefore, our agency also provides advocacy supports to promote such access.
