Day #2 features music from Strung Like a Horse, Abby Bryant & The Echoes and Dangermuffin inside Dogtown.
A phenomenal nationally touring act! Strung Like a Horse is known for their signature brand of Americana, distilled from old-school storytelling, newgrass instrumentations, and alt-rock edge. Mississippi-bred, Chattanooga-based frontman Clayton Maselle brings the influences of John Hartford, Split Lip Rayfield, Danny Barnes, The Band, Violent Femmes, and Old Crow Medicine Show to his singular songs. Their authenticity, high energy, and great fondness for a good time have made the band’s live shows a cult favorite.
Noted by Amos Perrine in No Depression as among the “Best New Music” at AmericanaFest 2018 and on his “Don’t Miss” list for AmericanaFest 2019, Strung will also be performing an official showcase at AmericanaFest UK 2020 in London. The band tours year-round, performing up to 100 shows a year, including Bonnaroo (labeled “Best Band Name”), Suwanee Roots, Wildwood Revival, Rhythm & Blooms, Summer Camp, Music City Roots, Scene City Roots, HartfordFest, LibertyFest, NAMM, Road to Nightfall (winning act), Moon River Music Festival (launch party), Get Off the Grid Fest, and Jam in the Van. They have toured on the road or performed with Old Crow Medicine Show, Shooter Jennings, Nicki Bluhm, Del McCoury, Charlie Daniels, Travis Tritt, Sam Bush, War, Lera Lynn, Honey Honey, and Hot Buttered Rum. Sam Bush remarked, after they opened for him, that the five-piece band’s full-tilt set “makes me sound like Bill Monroe.”

https://www.instagram.com/STRUNGLIKEAHORSE/A music minister’s daughter turned fierce frontwoman, Abby Bryant has cemented her presence as a standout in Americana and soul with her band’s debut album Not Your Little Girl. Bryant’s raw vocal talent supported by the confident and dynamic backing group The Echoes and establishes a strong foundation for the band in the world of vintage-inspired Americana and soul rock.
Playing for church services under her father’s direction, Bryant recalls early memories of singing a solo as an angel in a nativity play and backing up the church band in her small-town community near Charlotte, North Carolina. It wasn’t until she attended Appalachian State University that Bryant began to seriously consider a professional career in music. Forming the beginnings of the group with her friend from back home Bailey Faulkner, Bryant merged her love of the sound of soul and American roots music embodied by artists like Etta James and Bonnie Raitt with Faulkner’s similar passion for American blues and Faces-style rock.
After graduating from college and working with a number of part-time band members, the two relocated to Asheville, NC to form a proper band and quickly began heavy touring that kickstarted an organic fanbase throughout the Southeast.

Post-roots trio Dangermuffin casts a fresh perspective on American roots music. Based in Folly Beach, SC, the group is anchored by the thought-provoking lyrical wit of songwriter Dan Lotti and framed by Nashville-veteran percussionist Steven Sandifer and fluid lead guitarist Mike Sivilli. Dangermuffin brings a new level of groove to Americana music — a punchy, folk-jam pastry for the sweet-toothed soul of the South.
