Description:
Sustainable Blacksburg continues their Lunch and Learn series with the event titled "Residential Strategies to Protect Our Waterways" on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 offered both in-person at the Blacksburg Library or online on Zoom.
Most people don’t think about stormwater and how it affects their community as they go about their daily lives. Every drop of water that flows over our yards, gardens, sideways, driveways, and streets will eventually make its way to our shared waterways.
Come learn from Kafi Howard, the Town of Blacksburg’s Stormwater Engineer, who will share a number of solutions to better manage and filter stormwater on your property so rain and snow are less likely to carry dirt, chemicals, and other pollutants into the creeks and rivers of Blacksburg and beyond!
Audience members may join us at the library in-person or register to participate via Zoom at

Blacksburg Library is located at 200 Miller Street in Blacksburg, VA.
