The 2023 New River Valley Fair continues on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 featuring the Horse Pull. The New River Valley Fair will be held on Monday, July 24, 2023 through Saturday, July 29, 2023 at the New River Valley Fairgrounds in Dublin, VA.
Tuesday Schedule of Events:
• 9:00 AM: American Dairy Goat Show (Pre-Fair Normal Hours)
• 5:00 PM: Gates and Rides Open
• 5:00-10:00 PM: Exhibit Halls Open
• 5:00 PM: Dairy Cattle Costume Contest
• 5:30-10:15 PM: Jaycees Bingo ($1.00 per game) with Cash Prizes
• 6:00 PM: Caprine Contest
• 7:00 PM: Appalachian Hoedowners Clogging Team Performance
• 7:30 PM: Horse Pull (Free)
The New River Valley Fair is back with the theme "Moooo on Down to the NRV Fair". Enjoy six days of fun at the New River Valley Fair, a true country fair since 1872. Enjoy carnival rides, midway games, eats & treats, nightly entertainment, petting zoo, competitive exhibits and agricultural activities each day.
Tuesday features the annual Horse Pull, a performance from the Appalachian Hoedowners Clogging Team and the Dairy Cattle Costume and Caprine Contests which is included with general admission to the Fair.
Every day activities include:
• Carnival Midway from Cole Rides
• Agricultural Exhibits & Livestock Shows
• Buffalo Beal's Petting Zoo
• Teeny Weeny Circus
• Vendor Booths & Displays
• Princess Squad
Gate admission allows you entry into the fair and rides are an additional cost. You can purchase a Pay-One-Price Wristband to ride unlimited rides or purchase individual tickets to ride a specific number of rides. All entertainment with the exception of Saturday's Bulls & Barrels show ($10.00 entry) are included with gate admission.
Unlimited Ride Wristbands are available for any day of the Fair for $25.00 when purchased online through July 24th by 5:00 PM or $30.00 at the Fair.

Note: Rides are typically 3-6 tickets.
Directions:
Take Interstate 81 and take Exit 98 towards Dublin, VA then merge onto Route 100 North and travel three miles and the Fairgrounds will be on the left.
