The New River Valley Home Builders Association presents the 8th Annual Touch-a-Truck NRV 2023 on Saturday, August 12, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Uptown Christiansburg, formerly the New River Valley Mall, in Christiansburg, VA.

Touch-A-Truck NRV is back! Kids will get their imaginations in gear as they climb in the driver's seat to honk horns, sound sirens and learn about the big trucks that come with some cool careers. The event will be horn and siren free from 10am - 12pm.

Entry is $2.00 per person or $5.00 for a family ticket, which includes entry for up to four people. Children 2 and under are free.

The New River Valley Home Builders Association’s focus for Touch-A-Truck NRV is to allow children to become familiar with building industry and public service careers by offering an educational opportunity to explore trucks, tractors, heavy machinery and to interact with the people who build, protect, and serve the New River Valley.

Proceeds from this event go towards the New River Valley Home Builders Association and the NRVHBA Builders Care Fund which helps fund scholarships to local students to pursue education in construction and the trades, provide charitable contributions to community partners, and fund future workforce development initiatives in the community.
