The Christiansburg Department of Parks and Recreation presents a Community Cancer Screening Event on Friday, May 19, 2023 in the front parking lot of the Christiansburg Recreation Center.

Join us for a free Community Cancer Screening Event. Educational booths will be available with information on cancer prevention and treatment for lung, breast and colorectal cancers. Screenings for skin, head, neck and oral cancers will also be on-site. Scheduling for mammograms with a local hospital will also be available. Healthcare experts will be on site to answer cancer related questions.

And, door prizes will be given away!

Please note: No childcare services will be provided.

In the event of inclement weather, the event will be held in Multipurpoe Room 1 (attendees will use Door #2).

Christiansburg Recreation Center is located at 1600 North Franklin St in Christiansburg, VA.
