Description:
Claytor Lake State Park presents a Mother's Day Wildflower Walk on Sunday, May 14, 2023.
The diversity of plant life in the Blue Ridge Mountains is astounding. Master Naturalist and owner of Draper Springs Nursery, Justin Ciallella, will lead a short hike on one of Claytor Lake State Park's many trails as he points out and discusses native, invasive, and edible plants along the way. Celebrate Mother's Day and start a new Mother's Day tradition by joining us in the park.
The event will begin in the small parking lot between Campgrounds B and C on the right just past the Contact Station as you enter the park.
The event is free of charge though the $7.00 per vehicle parking fee still applies.
Claytor Lake State Park is located at 6620 Ben H. Bolen Drive in Dublin, VA.
