Description:
Virginia Tech Rec Sports presents the Veterans Thankful Three Miler on Sunday, November 13, 2022 on the Virginia Tech Cross Country Course on the campus of Virginia Tech.

Run and/or walk three miles and help us raise funds for the Veterans Hospital in Roanoke, VA while reflecting on what you are thankful for! The run/walk will start and finish on Smithfield Road near the Corps of Cadets obstacle course. The event will be untimed and all event finishers will receive an award. The whole community is invited to join, students, Virginia Tech employees and the general public!

In conjunction with Veterans Day (November 11th), we are excited to announce a partnership with the Corps of Cadets to honor veterans throughout the event.

The cost is $20.00 per person. A portion of the $20.00 registration fee will be donated to the Veterans Hospital in Roanoke, VA.

Note: A discount is available to veterans. Email Event Coordinator Kati Williams at katiw@vt.edu to receive a veterans discount code.

A long sleeve shirt is guaranteed to participants who sign up by Friday, October 21st after that date shirts will be available while they last.

Walk-up registration is allowed. Payment must be made with cash or check only on-site.

We also encourage you to bring nonperishable food donations for The Market of Virginia Tech, a resource designed to provide food assistance to Virginia Tech students who have a hard time obtaining regular, healthy meals.
