Rising Silo Farm Brewery presents Matthew Sabatella, Erinn Peet Lukes and Ash Devine in concert on Friday, July 29, 2022.

Ash Devine is an accomplished songwriter, ukulele and guitar player, performance artist, educator, and community-based arts facilitator whose work is influenced by her upbringing in the Blue Ridge mountains, and by her international travels to perform in health care facilities with Patch Adams M.D. Devine is known as a true ‘folk troubadour’ because she writes, collects, and performs cross genre music based on numerous folk traditions including original Americana & indie-folk-rock, traditional Appalachian old time, contemporary folk, country blues, historic bluegrass, folk revival, classic rock, and international folk music. Ash has self produced two albums of original music, and is working on two more, including a traditional Appalachian and folk legacy compilation.

Born and raised in the Blue Ridge mountains of Virginia, Ash lived for over 17 years in the Western North Carolina region where she developed her studies of Appalachian music traditions.

Matthew Sabatella is a touring artist from Miami, Florida that connects people with music that is woven into the fabric of the United States. As a singer, instrumentalist, recording artist, performer, speaker, and writer, he illuminates the connection between music and the story and people of the United States.

Carrying on the tradition of old-time songsters, his repertoire includes traditional folk songs, fiddle tunes, old-time country, bluegrass, Appalachian music, ragtime, blues, spirituals, railroad and cowboy songs, work songs, sea shanties, reels, breakdowns, ballads, and more. He performs regularly, both as a solo artist and as the leader of the Rambling String Band.

Erin Peet Lukes is a singer/songwriter originally from California. Her catchy country-folk sound plays with elements of bluegrass, pop, and indie rock. Erinn's crystal clear voice and flat-pick style acoustic guitar bring her vivid storytelling songs to life. She was a finalist in Kerrville’s New Folk Competition in 2018 and the Merlefest Songwriting Competition in 2021.
