The Turkish Student Association at Virginia Tech presents the Turkish Republic Day Celebration on Sunday, October 31, 2021 in the Commonwealth Ballroom A inside the Squire Student Center on the campus of Virginia Tech.
99 years ago, Turkey's foundation was laid as an independent, secular, and modern state, and Turkey was officially proclaimed as a Republic by the founder Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.
Join us for celebration of Turkish Republic Day! We will have snacks, Turkish Coffee, baklava, live music that starts at 7:0 PM, and plenty of space on the dance floor accompanied by Turkish Music and Turkish Dance Workshop!
