Virginia Tech School of Performing Arts presents the concert "Music of Hilary Tann" on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 inside the Creativity & Innovation District Living Learning Community building on the campus of Virginia Tech.
This concert features the music of Hilary Tann written for larger ensemble. Works to be performed include Melangell Variations with the VT Philaharmonic Orchestra with John Irrera, violin and Brian Thorsett, tenor soloists, and the violin concerto No Wind Yet Leaves Fall with John Irrera, violin and the Virginia Tech Percussion Ensemble.
Admission is free and no reservations are required.
For the safety of our audiences and performers, masks are currently required for attendance at all School of Performing Arts indoor events, regardless of vaccination status.
The Creativity & Innovation District Living Learning Community building is located at 185 Kent Street in Blacksburg, VA on the campus of Virginia Tech.
Note: The concert was originally scheduled to take place at the Squires Recital Salon.
