Blacksburg Library presents a Multi-Lingual Storytime and Resource Table as part of the YMCA at Virginia Tech's Welcoming Week on Saturday, September 11, 2021.

Enjoy stories in Russian, Chinese, Spanish, Arabic, Hindi and English. The Community Resource Table will be filled with tons of community information and will be hosted by multi-lingual interpreters. The resource table will be available all week.

Masks are encouraged and the event will be held outside weather permitting.

The YMCA at Virginia Tech, along with local partners, will host a week of activities for Welcoming Week, September 10-19, 2021.

Welcoming Week is a national celebration that brings together immigrants and U.S.-born residents at community-based events to promote cross-cultural understanding and raise awareness of the benefits of welcoming everyone!

The YMCA at Virginia Tech in partnership with the Town of Blacksburg, Blacksburg Library, Blacksburg Museum & Cultural Foundation, Blacksburg Newcomers Club and Literacy Volunteers of the NRV are hosting a week of activities for Welcoming Week.
