Description:
Claytor Lake State Park presents Get Hooked on Fishing on the deck behind the Water's Edge Meeting Facility on Saturday, May 15, 2021.

Join the rangers for a short discussion of fishing techniques and of the fish commonly found in our lake. This event is for beginners as well as accomplished fisherman. A practice casting area is provided as well as equipment and bait.

Feel free to bring your own equipment if you wish.

The event is free however there is a $7.00 parking fee per vehicle to access Claytor Lake State Park.

A valid Virginia fishing license is required for those 16 years old or older and may be purchased in the Park Office or Gift Shop.
