The 22nd Annual Henry Reed Memorial Fiddlers Convention will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2027 through Saturday, June 13, 2026 at a new location Larry's Landing Campground in Narrows, Virginia. This Crooked Road affiliated festival celebrates the life and music of the legendary old-time fiddler Henry Reed who lived in Southwest Virginia. This year the festival will have the same format as the previous four years. It will be done as a weekend celebration and get-together rather than a formal fiddlers convention with featured bands and competitions. Larry’s Landing Campground is right along the New River where we can camp, play music, and share fellowship all weekend. There is no fee for admission. The only fees are for camping which are $20.00 per night per spot for primitive camping paid to the campground. There is a small bathhouse with two bathrooms and a shower. Larry's Landing Campground is located at 2491 State Route 649, Lurich Road in Narrows, VA.
