The Blacksburg High School Theatre presents the play "Peter and The Star Catcher" with four performances starting on Friday, December 13, 2025 and ending on Sunday, December 14, 2025 inside the Blacksburg High School Auditorium. Event Schedule: • Saturday, December 13th at 2:00 PM (Understudy Show) • Saturday, December 13th at 7:00 PM • Sunday, December 14th at 2:00 PM • Sunday, December 14th at 7:00 PM (Newly Added Show) "Peter and the Starcatcher" is a whimsical prequel to the beloved story of Peter Pan written by Rick Elice and based on the novel by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson. A young orphan and his mates are shipped off from Victorian England to a distant island ruled by the evil King Zarboff. They know nothing of the mysterious trunk in the captain’s cabin, which contains a precious, otherworldly cargo. At sea, the boys are discovered by a precocious young girl named Molly, a Starcatcher-in-training who realizes that the trunk’s precious cargo is starstuff, a celestial substance so powerful that it must never fall into the wrong hands. When the ship is taken over by pirates – led by the fearsome Black Stache, a villain determined to claim the trunk and its treasure for his own – the journey quickly becomes a thrilling adventure. General admission tickets are $10.00 per person and $7.00 for students. To purchase tickets in advance, visit: https://blacksburgperformingarts.ludus.com/index.php?show_id=200509013.
