UPDATE: We are taking a break from our 3rd Friday jams until further notice, but we are still hosting an amazing 1st Friday jam each month. The Newport Community Center presents the Third Friday December Bluegrass & Old Time Jam Session on Friday, December 19, 2025. Bring your instruments and join us for a night of bluegrass and old time music in the cafeteria at the Newport Community Center. Admission is free and all are welcome. This is a family friendly event. Concessions will be available for purchase. The Bluegrass & Old Time Jam Sessions are a bimonthly event that occurs on the first and third Fridays of each month from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
