The 38th Pearisburg Festival in the Park will be held on Friday, June 9, 2023 and Saturday, June 10, 2023 on the grounds of the Pearisburg Community Center. Saturday Schedule: • 9:30 AM: Dance Motion performs • 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM: Car Show • 11:00 AM: Giles County School of Dance • 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM: Games & Rides • 1:00 PM: Tron Nation On-Site & Available For Pictures • 2:00 PM: Crystal River Band in Concert • 5:00 PM: The Divided Highway in Concert • 6:00 PM: David Francisco in Concert • 6:30 PM: Luke Whittaker in Concert • 8:00 PM: Chris Higbee (Festival Headliner) in Concert • ~9:30 PM: Fireworks Display The Pearisburg Festival in the Park celebrates its 38th anniversary in Giles County, Virginia! Enjoy carnival rides, two days of live entertainment, food vendors with all your favorite festival foods, special activities, vendors and crafters. Festival in the Park promises to be an awesome two days of community spirit, family fun, live music, and great food. There will be rides and games for the whole family! The 2023 Car Show will be from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Registration is $20.00 and vehicles must be registered by Noon. There will be prizes including a $100 Grand Prize and a People's Choice Trophy. Dash plaques will be given to the first 100 rides. Only one prize won per entry. This year's event is in partnership with the local charitable organization Cancer Kids and Christmas. Those planning to attend the festival may park behind the courthouse, ride the shuttle, and be dropped off right at the front lawn of the Pearisburg Community Center. The shuttle will make continuous loops and those planning to ride shouldn’t have to wait more than 10-15 minutes. The shuttle service will run as long as necessary to ensure festival goers can get back to their vehicles. Admission is free and all are welcome. Chairs and blankets are welcome.
