Description: Heathers of Floyd continues their 2021 Live Music Saturdays in association with the Floyd Farmers Market featuring musical guest Carrie Hinkley on Saturday, June 26, 2021 outside on The Village Green Of Floyd.

Join host David Cannaday and enjoy live music. Bring your lunch and a chair and join us for a social distancing fun time.

Founder and lead singer of the band Virginia Hollow, Carrie Hinkley is a singer-songwriter from Southwest Virginia.

In 1991, at the age of 13, she taught herself some chords on her dad's Fender 6 string acoustic guitar. She wrote her first song in high school. Songwriting and playing music was something that she did for many years as a hobby, only sharing her songs with a few select friends.

In 2014, Carrie played at an open mic at Dogtown Roadhouse in Floyd, Virginia. Playing her songs in public in front of an audience started off as being an item to cross off her bucket list. That experience became the fuel to fire her passion for performing, and sparked her desire to share her songs with the world.
