Ophelia (Band)
Biography:
Founded this year, the UK band Ophelia blends the musical stylings of Samuel Taylor (critically acclaimed singer/songwriter and frontman for UK bands, 'Dead Like Harry' and 'Taylor & Marie') and Virginia-raised Rebecca van Cleave (of HBO's 'Game of Thrones', E!'s 'The Royals', and 'The Bedroom Sessions' EP fame).
Samuel has been involved in the UK music scene for 15 years. Then more recently with his solo releases including the ‘Tales From A Troubadour’ EP series which took place throughout 2015, where he traveled around the world recording a series of EP’s from different towns and cities.
Rebecca is a bit greener to the music scene, having begun her career as an actress. Her debut EP, The Bedroom Sessions, was released in September 2015. It received airplay from BBC Radio and quickly sold out of physical copies.
Out of this collaboration comes a truly unique and original acoustic sound.
